Peak's Latest Update Enhances Stability and Clarifies Content Sharing Policies
The developers of Peak have addressed recent stability issues with an update that includes improvements and reassurances about content sharing.
Earlier this week, the developers behind Peak, Landcrab, had to retract a patch released to improve the game’s stability. While it addressed many issues, it inadvertently prevented many players from accessing the game. Fortunately, they have now reissued the same patch with enhancements and no bugs.
“We’re so back with this new patch,” the developers stated. “As usual, continue to report any bugs through forums or our Discord. Most importantly, we’ve improved the stability of reconnecting to games if you get disconnected.”
This update brings several critical fixes:
- You can now reconnect to games after a disconnection.
- The Max Framerate setting is functioning correctly.
- A fix was implemented for backpacks that sometimes disappeared.
Additionally, the team has addressed player concerns about the End User License Agreement (EULA). They clarified that there were errors in the original document, which has now been removed until an accurate version can be provided. Importantly, they reassured players that content sharing, including modified content, is welcome, and there are no plans for anti-cheat DRM.
Despite some previous worries, the developers emphasize their enthusiasm for players creating and sharing content, encouraging the community to keep tagging them in fun video clips and memes.
