In the light of increased reports regarding misconduct, Rematch’s developers have acknowledged the need for a robust reporting system in their game. Soon, players will be able to report griefing and cheating directly within the game, addressing the issues of toxic behavior which can spoil the gaming experience.
“We take these matters extremely seriously,” the developers stated. Asserting their commitment to maintaining a fun and fair environment, they outlined the consequences for disruptive actions: players caught griefing will face a three-day matchmaking ban, while those who engage in abusive language could be banned for a duration of three to seven days. For serious violations such as cheating, offenders may receive indefinite bans.
Currently, players can only report abusive behavior via Discord, but the team promises to roll out a player report feature in the game shortly.
This move aims to create a more inviting atmosphere for everyone, ensuring that participants can enjoy Rematch without the worries of unfair play.
