Zalman Unveils Innovative Circular CPU Coolers Inspired by Jet Engines

Zalman's new circular coolers pay homage to their earlier designs while adding modern flair with ARGB lighting.

We’ve all heard the jokes about the noise from PC cooling fans sounding like a jet engine preparing for takeoff. Now, Zalman introduces a new line of circular CPU coolers that not only mimic that sound but also their aesthetics, drawing inspiration from aircraft engine turbines.

The new ZET cooler series pays tribute to Zalman’s past with its earlier CNPS9900 models, with the latest ZET 5 model showcased at Computex 2025.

Here’s a preview of the ZET series:

  • ZET 5: Features two detachable 120mm fans, one at the front and one at the back, alongside five nickel-plated heat pipes soldered directly to the heatsink for optimal cooling.
  • ZET 4: This model will accommodate a lower 180 W TDP capacity, with four heat pipes and a single detachable fan, offering a swappable back panel for an LCD screen that can be controlled via Zalman’s software.
  • ZET 3: The entry-level option, rated at 150 W TDP, features three heat pipes and a single fan but skips additional features like ARGB lighting.

Each cooler comes in black and white options, emphasizing design alongside performance. The expected noise level for these coolers is around 33 decibels, aiming to minimize intrusive fan noise. Stay tuned for availability and pricing details as these innovative coolers prepare for takeoff.
