FBC Firebreak Developers Enhance Progression System After Player Feedback

The developers behind FBC Firebreak aim to improve the gaming experience by revamping the perk progression system in response to low usage statistics.

FBC: Firebreak developers are taking steps to enhance their game’s perk system following revelations that only 5% of players possess a level 3 perk. The team acknowledged the need for better guidance on perks as players rarely utilize higher-tier options.

Players’ Concerns

Recent statistics gathered by the team showcased that while perks are a significant part of gameplay, the current progression mechanics are slowing players down, making it harder for them to unlock or use them effectively. The upcoming double updates, versions 1.3 and 1.4, aim to address these issues, with an emphasis on providing clearer instructions and a more rewarding experience overall.

Balancing Progression

As they work to streamline the progression, the developers noted that builds can only be accessed through a limited selection of repetitive jobs. The aim is to facilitate quicker upgrades, thereby enhancing overall player enjoyment. The hope is that these changes will not only improve player satisfaction but also keep them engaged long-term.
