Call of Duty Announces Beavis & Butt-Head Event Pass for Black Ops 6 and Warzone

Activision unveils a special event pass featuring Beavis & Butt-Head for the popular games.

Activision has officially announced the Beavis & Butt-Head Event Pass associated with the upcoming collaboration for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

Fans eager to acquire limited-time Beavis & Butt-Head themed cosmetic items can participate in this new event, which will introduce a range of rewards inspired by these iconic cartoon characters.

This event will kick off with Call of Duty’s major Season 4 Reloaded update, slated for release today, July 2. Players of both Black Ops 6 and Warzone will have plenty to explore with this mid-season refresh. For those who enjoy multiplayer, the legendary Fringe map from Black Ops 3 will be returning, along with a new map titled Eclipse. Additionally, for Warzone enthusiasts, the new Resurgence Casual mode will feature a mix of real players and bots—12 real players and 32 bots, although resulting game progression will be limited due to the bots, and the statistics will not impact players’ records.

The pass includes a free version, offering two new weapons, two theme-appropriate operator skins, a 1-hour Double XP token, and additional perks. There will also be a premium version available for 1,100 COD Points; this paid option not only features the themed operators but also introduces a new finishing move, an emote, and three weapon blueprints.

While many fans are excited about these cosmetic options, a section of players has voiced dissatisfaction regarding the new skin designs for Black Ops 6’s Season 4 Reloaded. Some have expressed their desire for a return to more realistic items, referring to the new skins as “literal eyesores.”

Moreover, the community is not thrilled about the introduction of yet another premium Event Pass. Past collaborations with Netflix’s Squid Game and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles faced similar backlash for inundating players with additional paid pass options on top of existing Battle Passes each season, leading many to label the situation as greedy.
