Re-releases of The Sims and The Sims 2 Now Available After Anticipation

After a whirlwind of rumors, The Sims and The Sims 2 make their long-awaited return for enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

After numerous leaks and speculation, it’s now official: The Sims and The Sims 2 are being re-released. This announcement aligns with the celebrations for the series’ 25th anniversary on February 4.

Both of these iconic games are being made available for gamers eager to experience them once again, whether for nostalgia or for the first time.

Originally, The Sims took the gaming world by storm back in 2000, captivating players who fondly remember early mornings spent constructing virtual lives.

Gamers can now purchase The Sims: Legacy Collection, which includes all seven expansion packs for $19.99 via Steam or Epic Games.

Additionally, the The Sims 2: Legacy Collection is available for $29.99, bundled with numerous DLCs. This collection can be obtained through Steam or the Epic Store.

Moreover, players can opt for the The Sims: 25th Birthday Bundle for $39.99, which includes both games alongside additional kits for The Sims 4.

It’s essential to note that these editions are re-releases, not remakes or remasters, with minor upgrades like enhanced compatibility for Windows 10 and 11.

For those with nostalgia for past save files, EA assures that these should still work with the new versions.
