Trump Announces Potential TikTok Buyer Amid Regulatory Delays

Donald Trump shares hints about a wealthy group's interest in purchasing TikTok, with more details expected soon.

In two weeks, we might learn more about a group classified as very wealthy individuals interested in buying TikTok.

During a Fox News interview, Trump announced, “We have a buyer for TikTok, by the way,” suggesting that approval from China might be needed and predicting President Xi’s cooperation. When probed about the buyer’s identity, he stated, “I’ll tell you in about two weeks,” indicating they are part of a wealthy consortium.

Despite previous claims of multiple groups interested back in March, clarity remains elusive. While anticipation builds, observers note the complexities of the current U.S. and China relations could affect any potential acquisition.
