Wreckfest 2 Receives an Update: Introducing a Shabby Motorhome and Enhanced Damage Mechanics

The latest patch for Wreckfest 2 introduces a decrepit motorhome and improves the game's damage model.

Following a bumpy early access launch, Wreckfest 2 has undergone improvements, not least of which is the introduction of a gritty motorhome that carries whispers of a dubious past. While not the most aerodynamic choice for racing, this vehicle thrives at demolishing smaller cars.

Additionally, the update introduces new tracks including a banger-racing dirt circuit featuring two layouts: an oval and a figure-eight, as well as a demolition derby arena nestled within a scrapyard. This arena comes equipped with a functional crane that poses a hazard to careless drivers, as seen in the accompanying video update.

Notable Changes:

  • Addition of a graffiti-adorned motorhome.
  • New sedan model named the Cardinal.
  • Enhanced physics, including collision and car handling adjustments.
  • Revised damage model, ensuring higher realism.

As a nod to enthusiasts, the damage model is refined for a more authentic experience. Players can expect greater vehicle vulnerability, making crashes feel more impactful.
