Elden Ring Nightreign Player Reaches 63,375 Damage Before Glitching Out

A bustling Elden Ring Nightreign player managed to amass a staggering 63,375 damage but faced an unfortunate glitch that rendered them powerless.

An Elden Ring Nightreign player, identified as mintius, managed to push their damage output to an astonishing 63,375 before encountering a significant issue.

As reported and translated by Automaton, mintius utilized the Marais Executioner Sword, which possesses a passive effect that boosts attack power with each enemy defeated. This ability seemingly has no upper limit, allowing players to grind indefinitely.

However, after defeating over 725 enemies, mintius reached a visible damage cap of 9,999 but managed to surpass it, hitting the 63,375 mark. Shortly after this achievement, they were suddenly unable to deal any damage, leading to their downfall.

The likely cause of this notorious glitch is known as integer overflow, a common flaw in coding where numbers exceed the computational limits allowed by a game’s code. The overflow triggered, leaving mintius defenseless in the game, resulting in an unexpected end to what was a monumental moment.

Mintius plans to continue testing within the game, with ambitions to push their damage output even higher.
