Players of Rematch Are Flopping Like Schools of Flying Fish—Here's Why It's Actually Quicker

Discover the benefits of unexpected movement mechanics in the game Rematch that are leaving players amazed.

In the game Rematch, players are employing unorthodox methods of movement that defy traditional mechanics. In my recent testing, I found that players often appear to flop around like schools of majestic flying fish, producing a rather amusing spectacle.

In essence, while the movement may seem silly, findings suggest that this approach can actually provide a significant speed boost. In a field test, several runs were conducted, measuring various movement techniques. The results are astonishing:

  • Sprinting: 8.07 seconds
  • Sprinting (extra effort): 7.58 seconds
  • Flopping around: 7.13 seconds

The difference in timing reveals that ‘flopping’ can indeed be faster than regular running in some circumstances. However, it appears to consume slightly more stamina, albeit still making it an effective means of movement.

Keep an eye on future updates from Sloclap; a patch might be needed to balance these discoveries in upcoming plays!
