FromSoftware to Ramp Up Challenge for Elden Ring Nightreign's Most Intimidating Boss, Fulghor

Fulghor will be upgraded as Elden Ring Nightreign players face an enhanced version of this challenging character. Get ready for a tougher adversary in the upcoming update.

As players start to master the current Nightlords in Elden Ring Nightreign, FromSoftware is rolling out enhanced versions of these formidable bosses, notoriously known as Everdark variants. The next character to face this upgrade is none other than Fulghor, recognized as one of the hardest bosses in the game.

The prior enhanced version, Gaping Jaw, displayed dramatic new abilities causing disarray, such as swirling tornadoes and DBZ-style instant transportation.

“Starting June 26, players will encounter a Nightlord that embodies shadows — the Everdark Sovereign will unleash chaos!”

Many players, including myself, haven’t even tackled the new Gaping Jaw yet due to its intimidating mechanics. With Fulghor now slated for an upgrade, I can only imagine the difficulty spike. For those who have found success with Fulghor before, wit will play a crucial role; many found that leveraging lightning damage effectively stuns him repeatedly.

While it’s nerve-wracking to see such a formidable boss get even tougher, it’s a much-needed adjustment to refresh the gameplay experience. The monotony can set in once players familiarize themselves with attack patterns, making Everdark bosses essential for enhancing playability.

A tweet by FromSoftware teased: “Only thunderous radiance shall still the sacred echoes of the Night.”

Ultimately, the decision to elevate Fulghor’s challenge indicates FromSoftware’s commitment to providing a dynamic gaming experience in Elden Ring Nightreign. To prepare for this, players should bolster their strategies and gather the community for camaraderie!
