Assassin’s Creed Shadows continues to evolve with its recent update, bringing the Critical Role characters into the mix!
Last March marked the game’s launch, but it seems to have slipped from gamers’ minds as new titles came and went. However, it remains active with continuous updates, the most notable being the 1.0.6 patch which addresses various player-reported bugs like the visibility issue with the Onryo Mask and Mastery Points.
This latest patch also introduces a Nightmare mode for hardcore players, reminiscent of challenging gaming experiences reminiscent of Sekiro. Moreover, it adds new guest character Rufino, voiced by Robbie Daymond, which players can unlock after completing a related quest.
In addition, players can now hang a Critical Role banner in their hideouts or acquire themed weapons that connect this beloved franchise to a wider narrative universe.
The full patch notes can be explored to see all the enhancements made, but the most exciting updates definitely come from the heightened difficulty and the integration of fan-favorite voice actors.
