A New Video Game Inspired by the Classic Film Kickboxer is on the Way

Force Multiplier Studios is developing a video game that brings the iconic Kickboxer film to the gaming world, fusing narrative with martial arts action.

Remember the classic martial arts film Kickboxer starring Jean-Claude Van Damme? A video game adaptation is in the works!

Force Multiplier Studios is set to create a game that they claim will merge the rich story of Kickboxer with high-energy martial arts action. The studio, known for titles like Tales from the Borderlands and Call of Duty, promises a dynamic brawler featuring beloved characters and settings from the franchise.

In a recent press release, Jeremy Breslau, the CEO of Force Multiplier Studios, expressed enthusiasm for bringing innovation to the fighting genre by emphasizing environmental combat mechanics that aim to enhance the gameplay experience.

Breslau stated, “We can’t wait to innovate the fighting genre with incredibly visceral combat and an emphasis on the environment and what you can do in it. We are crafting a dynamic brawler that will empower players to be the best kickboxers in the world.”

The team has hinted that more details about the Kickboxer game will be revealed later in 2025. Stay tuned for updates!
