Blizzard has unveiled a host of thrilling features for Diablo 4 Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim, which will kick off on July 1. This season will introduce a new questline, unique items, and updates to Nightmare Dungeons, affecting both Seasonal and Eternal Realms. Alongside these changes, a new Battle Pass called Reliquary will be included, featuring various rewards.

The game initially launched in 2023 with its first major expansion, Vessel of Hatred, following in 2024. Seasonal content has continually transformed the game. The upcoming Season 9 will build upon the contents introduced in prior seasons, such as witchcraft themes in Season 7 and boss powers in Season 8.

In an extensive post, Blizzard highlighted The Embers Yet Smolder, the new seasonal questline set in Cerrigar, where players will uncover and eliminate blood relics in the hands of demons. It’s essential to complete the base game campaign and create a new character on the Seasonal Realm to access this questline.

A major highlight for Season 9 is the Horadric spell system, which allows players to craft new spell combinations using several key components: Catalysts, Infusions, and Arcana.
