Borderlands 4 to Feature Photo Mode, but Not at Launch

Gearbox Software has announced that a highly demanded Photo Mode will be added to Borderlands 4 after its release but won't be available on launch day.

Gearbox Software has revealed that Borderlands 4 will feature a Photo Mode, although it will not be accessible during the game’s launch. This eagerly anticipated feature will only be introduced in a post-launch update. In fact, this will be just the second time a Borderlands game offers such functionality, following its introduction in Borderlands 3.

“A Photo Mode was always part of our plans,” says Graeme Timmins, Creative Director at Gearbox.

Timmins emphasized that the team prioritized refining the core gameplay experience ahead of the release, which is scheduled for September. As excitement builds amongst fans, Gearbox is expected to make additional feature announcements leading up to the game’s launch.

With its impressive graphics, many are already speculating if they meet the high expectations set for the upcoming game. The community is actively discussing potential diverse features and looking forward to capturing moments in-game with the soon-to-be-released Photo Mode.
