The Precinct Introduces New Solo Mode in Major Update

Fallen Tree Games rolls out a significant content update for The Precinct, enhancing gameplay with a newly introduced solo mode and various customization options.

Fallen Tree Games has unveiled a notable content update for their acclaimed neon-noir police game, The Precinct, which introduces a new solo mode alongside fresh customization features for Officer Nick Cordell Jr. and his selected squad car. This update will be available for free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC later this week.

Following its release to predominantly positive reviews in May, the studio outlined its future plans for The Precinct and committed to ongoing updates that include essential bug fixes and enhancements. Players have already experienced multiple updates, with the latest patch delivered earlier this month, ensuring a seamless gameplay experience. Now, with most of the technical improvements addressed, the developers are eager to roll out new features for players.

Solo Mode Invitation

With the update trailer now available, players can embark on their patrols at a different pace in the newly added solo mode. This allows players to initiate their missions independently, without a partner. The implications for gameplay dynamics remain to be seen, though it appears to heighten the challenge of combating crime without a sidekick.

Additionally, players can enjoy enhanced customization options tailored for various vehicles and Officer Nick Cordell Jr. All six squad cars now come equipped with five new livery selections, while Cordell Jr. receives stylish upgrades with ten outfit choices, eight hats, and four styles of glasses to reflect their policing style.
