Last week, Team Ninja surprised fans by launching Ninja Gaiden 4 and simultaneously releasing Ninja Gaiden 2 Black. The latter’s subtitle had fans excited as it heralded a return to the classic action formula following the disappointing Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
Team Ninja has announced that a patch containing balance adjustments is set to be released around mid-February. This update is aimed at responding to player feedback asking for a more challenging experience reminiscent of the original.
“Based on the feedback received, we are preparing a patch aimed for release in mid-February with some balance adjustments and additional features.”
While the game has made strides over its predecessor Sigma in terms of enemy count and placement, discussions among players suggest an even tougher encounter would be welcomed.
Today’s patch also addresses technical issues such as missing DLSS options and fixes a rare bug that hindering players after boss battles. As February approaches, fans can anticipate whether Ninja Gaiden 2 Black will finally transform into the action classic they’ve been craving.
