Pokémon GO has hinted that Quaxly might be the chosen Pokémon for the Community Day event set for July 2025. While there hasn’t been official confirmation confirming Quaxly’s role during this period, recent teasers from the game’s social media suggest otherwise. Players remember Quaxly, introduced in 2022 as the Water-type starter of the Paldea region, during Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s initial rollout. Despite being noted as the least popular starter among fans, the excitement surrounding Quaxly’s potential appearance at the upcoming event seems vibrant.
In a tweet by the official Pokémon GO account, they posted a playful teaser accompanied by symbols including watery emojis, alongside a short video clip that inadvertently hints towards Quaxly’s unveiling. Given that this Community Day will mark Quaxly’s special showcase, expectations are high. Below are the confirmed upcoming Community Day dates:
- July 5-6 - Eevee (Community Day Classic two-day event)
- July 20 - Quaxly
- August 30 - Rookidee
This July reveal has sparked some confusion among fans, as many anticipated Rookidee to take the starring role instead. However, it has already been confirmed that Rookidee will headline the Community Day in August. In a recent poll on Pokémon GO’s YouTube channel, Rookidee triumphed with a whopping 77% of the vote. The next Community Day is scheduled for August 30, 2025, at 2 p.m. local time.
