In recent days, Monster Hunter Wilds has become a flashpoint for discontent among its player base. Over the past week, the game has accumulated more than 2,000 negative Steam reviews, pushing its overall rating to ‘overwhelmingly negative’.
Players largely express frustration over the game’s subpar performance, citing persistent issues with crashes, stuttering, and visual glitches, which significantly detract from the gameplay experience.
One player remarked, “It’s been four months since release and the game hasn’t seen any notable performance fixes.” Another echoed this sentiment, stating, “This review will remain negative until they fix the terrible PC performance.”
Despite Capcom’s efforts to address some concerns through updates, many users feel that substantial problems remain unacknowledged, leading to a growing sense of disappointment. As it stands, the game’s player numbers have steadily declined, reaching some of their lowest counts in weeks, with lingering doubts about future improvements.
