During the Summer Game Fest’s PC showcase, the developer Perfect Garbage unveiled its next farming simulator titled Grave Seasons. This game channels the beloved Stardew Valley vibe while adding elements of true crime and horror.

Recent announcements in early June during PlayStation’s State of Play, the Xbox Game Showcase, and Summer Game Fest 2025 generated significant excitement among gamers. One of the standout revelations was the highly anticipated launch of the Xbox ROG handheld, crafted in collaboration with Asus.

Grave Seasons brings players to the tranquil, yet eerie town of Ashenridge, where they will not only fish, mine, and cultivate crops but also delve into a series of murders that disrupt the peace. The main character, escaped from prison, must befriend the town’s residents to solve the mystery—and perhaps even develop romantic feelings for the elusive killer.

The reveal trailer showcased a charmingly sinister atmosphere complemented by a haunting soundtrack, already leading to over 100,000 wish lists on Steam ahead of its 2026 release on PC and consoles.
