Upcoming Updates for FBC: Firebreak Revealed

Developer Remedy announces new features and content for the forthcoming cooperative shooter, FBC: Firebreak.

The chaotic cooperative shooter FBC: Firebreak is set to launch soon, yet developer Remedy has shared exciting plans for additional updates. Players can look forward to two significant update releases this year, introducing new levels, enemies, and gameplay systems.

This content will let players undertake new missions, referred to as ‘jobs’, with the first mission under the codename ‘Outbreak’. Although details about this job remain under wraps, it will introduce a new area, the research sector, alongside fresh adversaries and rewards.

“The launch of FBC: Firebreak is just the beginning. Have a look at what the post-launch roadmap will look like. All playable post-launch content in the game is free. FBC: Firebreak launches June 17."—Update from Remedy (https://twitter.com/cantworkitout/status/1932800170418139480).

The fall update also promises to unveil novel systems, although specifics are yet to be disclosed. Unlike other games, Remedy intends to enhance player experience rather than monopolize time.

The winter update is set to introduce a job named ‘Blackout’, which will feature unique elements, enemies, and additional equipment. Both updates will be released alongside purchasable cosmetic packs offering various skins and characters.

With the launch of FBC: Firebreak approaching, expectations are high, and Remedy aims to deliver a cooperative gameplay experience that genuinely values players’ time.
