For its fourth anniversary, Pokémon Unite will introduce the legendary Pokémon Latios and Latias as playable characters on July 21. Their specific roles and abilities within the game are yet to be unveiled.

Known as the Eon Pokémon, Latios and Latias first appeared in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire as roamable legendaries. Latias is recognized as the smaller, red variant with enhanced defenses, while Latios, the larger blue one, excels in attack power.

Despite not being among the strongest Pokémon, their unique designs distinguish them within the roster of legendary creatures from the Hoenn region. As part of the fourth anniversary celebrations, more details regarding their capabilities in Pokémon Unite are expected to be released soon, following the additions of other creatures like Suicune and Alcremie.
