Satisfactory's Major Update Enhances Playability for Steam Deck Users

The latest patch for Satisfactory introduces significant enhancements aimed at improving the gaming experience for Steam Deck players.

The recent update (version 1.1) for Satisfactory has made substantial improvements, particularly for players using Steam Deck. This patch adds features like new conveyor belt options, an improved photo mode, and much-needed controller support. With this enhancement, navigating menus and placing objects in the game has become much easier for handheld users.

Furthermore, the update introduces a construction elevator, making vertical transport more efficient in your factory design. Enhanced resource management features, including priority mergers for better control over input resources, will also be part of this update.

Despite these improvements, players may still find some aspects of the UI challenging to read on smaller screens, but overall, this update vastly enhances the user experience on Steam Deck.

“It’s no exaggeration to say this update includes more than a year’s worth of work,” says Coffee Stain.

Ultimately, the 1.1 update pushes the game closer to a full-fledged experience on both PC and Steam Deck platforms.
