Remedy Entertainment recently provided insights into upcoming content updates for their highly anticipated game, FBC: Firebreak. These updates, codenamed Outbreak and Blackout, are set to be released in the fall and winter of this year respectively.
FBC: Firebreak is a groundbreaking title for Remedy, marking their debut in multiplayer co-op gaming, building on their success with narrative-driven games like Control and Alan Wake.
Players will assume the roles of agents in the Firebreak crisis response team, battling extradimensional threats within the Federal Bureau of Control’s headquarters—famed for its impossibilities and supernatural elements. Along with unique weapons, including deadly garden gnomes, players will have access to various paranormal tools to aid them in their missions.
The Outbreak update is anticipated to introduce new regions and gameplay mechanics, while the Blackout update may delve into familiar themes from Alan Wake, expanding the game universe further.
Fans eagerly await the launch date set for June 17, 2025, and look forward to the ongoing support and content releases from Remedy.
