Halo Infinite Embraces Nostalgia with Halo 3-Inspired Event

Halo Infinite launches Operation: Legacy, bringing back beloved modes and maps from Halo 3.

Halo Infinite has kicked off Operation: Legacy, introducing a series of multiplayer updates and modes that resemble the iconic Halo 3 era. This nostalgia-driven event is reminiscent of last year’s Halo 2 celebrations and aims to recreate the excitement of classic gameplay.

In its golden age, Halo 3 set benchmarks with its innovative multiplayer features and gameplay mechanics, including the Forge mode, which empowered players to create custom game modes. This time, Grifball, a fan-favorite mode, makes a triumphant return with its quirky physics and added maps.

Operation: Legacy features:

  • Grifball alongside a playlist inspired by Halo 3, complete with beloved maps like Guardian, Narrows, and Ghost Town.
  • Gameplay adjustments that enhance the dynamics of multiplayer, such as lowered cooldowns on certain weapons.

This nostalgic journey runs in Halo Infinite until July 8, bringing back the spirit of finishing the fight once more.
