Stellar Blade Achieves Significant Player Milestone Shortly After PC Release
After its launch on PC, Stellar Blade surpassed over 100,000 concurrent players within the first 24 hours, marking a major achievement for the title.
Stellar Blade has made a remarkable entry on PC, exceeding 100,000 concurrent players on Steam within just 24 hours of its release.
Previously a PlayStation 5 exclusive, Stellar Blade sold over a million copies within its initial two months. This new PC version features advanced capabilities, such as high-resolution textures, ultrawide monitor support, and compatibility with Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3. The game’s developer, Shift Up, is also in the works on a sequel along with a new project known as Project Spirits.
Furthermore, the initial demo for Stellar Blade was launched on May 30 in nearly 250 regions, attracting considerable attention, with peak concurrent players reaching 26,443 at that time. This demo not only showcased significant gameplay elements but also maintained an impressive 92% positive review rating.
The full PC launch of Stellar Blade did not merely meet expectations but surpassed the momentum established by its demo, setting a record of 164,650 concurrent players in its first day, becoming the second PlayStation-published game to achieve this feat, following Helldivers 2.
