A New Cult Leader Game, Worship, Launches on Steam This July

Worship invites players to take on the role of a cult leader, orchestrating rituals and directing followers in a unique mix of strategy and management gameplay.

In the upcoming game Worship, players will step into the shoes of a cult leader, overseeing big rituals and directing their followers with a gameplay style reminiscent of both Pikmin and Cult of the Lamb. As your cult expands, the objective will be to spread your influence, leading to possibilities of sacrifices to your chosen deity and aiming for world destruction.

If this premise resonates with fans of Cult of the Lamb, it comes as no surprise. Worship features a captivating artistic style that combines black and white visuals with bursts of color, primarily red.

At the PC Gaming Show 2025, Chasing Rats Games, known for their quirky physics-based games like Struggling, announced a July 16 early access launch for Worship. The game will support both online and split-screen cooperative play, enabling you to bring along up to three friends as you indulge in the dark fun of cult leadership.

A free demo is also available prior to the full release for those eager to explore its unique gameplay elements.
