Introducing Pigface: A Gritty Neo-Noir FPS Now with Demo on Steam

Pigface, a new neo-noir first-person shooter, showcases its unique gameplay and will be available for early access in August 2025.

In a recent reveal at the PC Gaming Show 2025, the gritty FPS Pigface was introduced, showcasing thrilling gameplay set within a sandbox environment. The game is set to launch in early access in August 2025, but players can now experience it with a demo available on Steam.

Pigface stands out with its unique premise and design, drawing comparisons to classic tactical shooters like SWAT and the original Rainbow Six games. However, it offers a distinct art style inspired by titles like Hotline Miami and Manhunt—the latter known for its controversial themes.

Players take on the role of Exit, a masked assassin coerced into lethal tasks by an unseen employer. This character dons a signature pig mask, setting a tone that’s both darkly humorous and gritty.

The gameplay emphasizes both action and strategy, encouraging players to customize their approach—whether through direct confrontation or tactical planning. With a feel reminiscent of other indie hits, Pigface aims to provide a blend of sandbox gameplay and immersive storytelling, encouraging players to explore a richly detailed world of crime and intrigue.

Check out the demo and wishlist Pigface ahead of its anticipated early access release.
