Create Enchanting Recipes for Mythical Creatures in Card-Based Cooking Game Arcane Eats

Discover how you can craft magical dishes to satisfy fantasy beings in the innovative cooking simulator Arcane Eats.

It was only a matter of time before cooking simulators merged with card games, but the outcome is surprisingly engaging. In Arcane Eats, players will delve into culinary challenges set in a whimsical fairy realm, where they can whip up gourmet dishes for both fantastical creatures and cosmic beings.

As one of three unique chef characters, each with distinct cooking methods, you’ll take turns managing ingredient cards to craft and serve dishes that cater to the appetites of diverse patrons. Use quirky ingredients like star potatoes for celestial casseroles or tender owlbear brisket to delight a hungry dwarf.

Earning gold from satisfied customers allows you to acquire new, exotic ingredients to expand your recipe collection. Some ingredients can enhance the dishes’ flavors or weights, providing depth to your culinary creations.

Navigating the challenges of satisfying multiple customers simultaneously can be stressful, as your reputation is at stake. You’ll need to decide which dishes to serve for maximum effect, illustrated in the game’s trailer when a goblin’s meal is overlooked for a bulkier office orc.

In addition to cooking, players must oversee their restaurant’s operations, hiring extra hands and managing inspections from health officials and legendary culinary figures like Guy Fairy and Gorgon Ramsey. A coveted three Mythril Star rating awaits those who succeed, while failure could lead to chaos in the magical realm.

Currently, there’s no release date specified for Arcane Eats, but more information can be found on its Steam page. Keep an eye out for further updates!
