Voice Actor of Trevor from GTA Shares Thoughts on Missing GTA 6 Role

Steven Ogg expresses disappointment over not being involved in GTA 6 and shares an intriguing suggestion for a cameo.

The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 remains a point of speculation as Rockstar has revealed little since the trailer release. Steven Ogg, known for voicing Trevor in GTA V, disclosed that he would have enjoyed a cameo in the new installment, expressing that it would have been entertaining if Trevor had met his demise early on.

“Pass the torch, stomp Trevor’s head in, and sort of put an end to that.” Translation: Stop Trevor’s story and allow new characters to take over.

Ogg added, “I wish [I was in GTA 6]. It would be fun if Trevor appeared in it just to be killed at the beginning.” He noted that this concept mirrors Trevor’s initial violent introduction in GTA V, further mentioning that fans should feel acknowledged during such a transition to new leads.

While it is confirmed that Trevor will not return for the upcoming game, Ogg’s nostalgic thoughts emphasize the significant impact of the character within the franchise. Rockstar’s initial plans for DLC featuring Trevor were abandoned as the company shifted its focus to GTA Online.
