Sometimes you must leave your routine for a new venture. My recent fascination with Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk, an idle game centered around managing a vending machine business, has sparked thoughts of taking this hobby into a career.
I initially played its demo back in February, enjoying my time managing the business for as long as possible. The excitement that came with Wholesome Direct announcing its immediate release left me eager to jump back into my vending operations.

While at first glance, restocking drinks may not seem engaging, the idle game format allows it to run in the background, freeing you to engage in other tasks while you manage from afar. It’s surprisingly immersive as hours can pass while overseeing your vending operation. From restocking items to enhancing the atmosphere of your space by adding decorations such as benches and lights, there’s a deeper level of engagement than one might assume.
This cozy game also features a lo-fi soundtrack, making it an ideal companion for work, and you may even encounter soft rain for added ambiance. Though it may not appear as a must-play immediately, it has the addictive charm of watching over a vending empire in a serene Japanese alleyway, making one crave traditional drinks like Pocari Sweat.
Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk is unexpectedly delightful, offering a peaceful yet engaging distraction that has left me curious about vending machine auctions.
