A New Co-op Mode for Hitman Features Familiar Faces from Agent 47's Story

The characters Stone and Knight are returning for a unique co-op mode in Hitman: World of Assassination.

Agent 47 operates solo, but what if other characters from the Hitman universe were willing to join forces?

Overview of Co-op Mode

IO Interactive has announced a new Hitman: World of Assassination co-op mode currently in development. The characters Stone and Knight, who previously appeared in the game’s sniper co-op mode, will now feature in a full co-op scenario.

Christian Elverdam, the Chief Creative Officer at IO Interactive, mentioned during a recent showcase:

“We want you to team up with a friend and enjoy Hitman in co-op.”

Translation: We aim to deliver an enjoyable co-op experience where players can tackle missions together.

The mode will encourage players to rethink strategy as they take on missions as a duo, rather than as a solitary assassin.

No Set Date Yet

Currently, there are no specific details regarding the launch date or gameplay mechanics, but more information is expected soon. Elverdam noted that the development is still in the early stages, indicating fans might have to wait a while before they can team up in the game.

For those eager to explore the continued saga of Hitman, this upcoming update is sure to bring exciting gameplay dynamics.
