Disney Dreamlight Valley players are invited to participate in an exciting opportunity to vote for a new companion character in the game. Players can choose companions based on customizable factors including appearance and species. The voting process is still open until June 9. While some aspects have been pre-decided, options for customization are available for selection.

The game’s central theme revolves around gathering various classic Disney characters into a single village. Since the game’s early access release in 2022, a multitude of characters have been introduced through free updates and Expansion Pass content. Upcoming updates include the addition of Peter Pan on June 18 and Sleeping Beauty’s Aurora on July 9.

As part of the Community Companion Design Challenge, players not only decide on the look of the new companion but can also enjoy features that allow them to build friendship levels with their characters after the next major update. The developers have teased even more updates for the game, including new storylines involving the franchises of Inside Out and Beauty and the Beast in future patches.
