A new Danish studio, Raw Power Games, has unveiled its upcoming medieval sandbox RPG, Chronicles: Medieval, showcased during this year’s Summer Game Fest stream. Initially indicated as utilizing generative AI for development, the studio has since reversed this stance, emphasizing a commitment to a fully handcrafted game experience.

In a statement released, CTO Caspar Strandbygaard clarified that they are exploring new technologies while emphasizing that the game’s creative direction is solely human-driven. The studio intends to provide a unique and meaningful gaming experience, slated for early access on Steam in 2026.
