Capcom surprised fans with the announcement of Resident Evil Requiem today at the Summer Game Fest. This new entry in the Resident Evil franchise is scheduled for release on February 27, 2026. The trailer showcased unsettling locales typical of the series, yet notably absent was the iconic giant vampire lady, which disappointed many fans.

“Now, about the latest Resident Evil game you’ve all been waiting for, bear with us a little longer,” Jun Takeuchi remarked.
