New Trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta Hints at Metal Gear Online's Return

The latest Metal Gear Solid Delta trailer gives fans a glimpse of the game's visuals and features, including a tease for the much-anticipated Metal Gear Online.

A new trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater showcased during Sony’s State of Play offers a fresh look at the game’s revitalized visuals while hinting at a reintroduction of Metal Gear Online.

The trailer suggests that Metal Gear Delta is set to largely replicate the iconic gameplay of its predecessor, Metal Gear Solid 3, with modern enhancements. It features action-packed snippets showing Snake in combat against the game’s bosses, such as the Cobra Unit.

Among the visuals, fans can spot Revolver Ocelot performing his signature gun tricks and cryptic scenes implying that classic encounters, including The End’s sniping showdown, are revamped with stunning graphical fidelity.

In a surprising twist at the trailer’s conclusion, a brief scene depicts a player cleverly camouflaging themselves within jungle terrain, which has led many to speculate about the potential return of Metal Gear Online, a beloved multiplayer experience introduced in MGS3: Subsistence.

While still unconfirmed by Konami, the anticipation around Metal Gear Delta is palpable, with a release date set for August 28, 2025. As development continues, gaming enthusiasts remain hopeful for more updates on gameplay features and functionality.
