The upcoming animated film explores Geralt’s enduring connection with Yennefer, reviving themes from the Witcher lore.

A recent interview with Mike Ostrowski, the writer for the film, hinted at exciting easter eggs that delve deeper into the relationship dynamics between Geralt and Yennefer.

“Geralt cannot let Yennefer go, even though he’s trying his best. She haunts him. Even if he wanted to be rid of her, he can’t.” Translation: Geralt cannot allow Yennefer to leave his life, despite his efforts; her presence is inescapable for him.

Sirens of the Deep is set to take place during episodes five and six of the first season, focusing on the relationship between Geralt and Dandelion in the coastal town of Bremervoord. It hints at the significant connections that shape Geralt’s interactions with notable characters.

Fans can look forward to the animated film’s release on February 11 on Netflix.
