Fluxo enters the Major facing significant challenges, as they are ranked at the bottom. Captain Andrei ‘arT’ Piovezan remains optimistic, believing they have a solid chance to progress to the next round, provided they do not succumb to pressure.
“When we play a match and we are prepared, we just play better,” arT remarked. “If we manage to do that in the Major, don’t feel the pressure, and play with energy, I think we can reach the second stage.”
Notably, the absence of coach Marcos ’tacitus’ Castilho due to visa complications adds another layer of difficulty for the team, compelling arT to shoulder greater leadership responsibilities.
arT also reflected on his year with Fluxo, stating that the journey has been filled with ups and downs but that achieving a consistent lineup remains key for future success. He’s optimistic about the team’s growth, particularly emphasizing the need for younger players to be guided in high-pressure situations. The atmosphere within the squad is focused on enhancing their skills and confidence to thrive as they face formidable opponents in the Major.
What’s it like to be back at a Major?
It feels great, it’s something I always strive for in a new team, so it’s amazing.
You’ve spent one year in Fluxo now pretty much. How would you reflect on your first year with the team?
It’s hard to communicate that in a small phrase because a year is a long time, you know? A lot happened, changing lineups, achieving local successes, and now it’s about excelling on this higher stage.
