The development team of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone has decided to eliminate a user interface (UI) component that was introduced during the Season 4 update due to intense feedback from the gaming community.

Black Ops 6 first debuted in October 2024, following an impressive marketing initiative that got fans excited. The free-to-play battle royale titled Warzone has been available to players since 2020.

Initially available in a free multiplayer mode with Zombies to celebrate the Season 4 launch, this offer was limited and concluded on June 3.

Recently, Warzone instituted a patch that addressed various issues, including major fixes for stability and performance, thereby resolving numerous collision glitches and UI problems that afflicted ranked gameplay.

Call of Duty has announced the discontinuation of a UI feature that surfaced select store content in the loadout menus, later clarifying this was included by mistake. Many felt the announcement was a joke and expressed gratitude for the teams’ responsiveness to community feedback.

As a positive turn, players can anticipate an upcoming in-game event themed around the action film Ballerina, which runs from June 5 to June 12, featuring exclusive rewards for participants.
