Recently, the Palworld developer Pocketpair launched a new publishing branch despite ongoing legal challenges from Nintendo. The new venture, called Pocketpair Publishing, has sparked significant interest from game developers.

The division’s publishing manager, known as Bucky, quickly became overwhelmed with over 1,500 LinkedIn messages and 68 email inquiries in just 15 hours following the announcement. He remarked, “My inboxes were 0 before then… I think I might have underestimated how much interest there would be.”

When addressing concerns regarding creative control, Bucky stated on social media, “We give you money. You make game.”

Furthermore, he reassured potential partners that Pocketpair remains entirely independent despite any associations:

“A lot of people don’t seem to understand that when we say ‘Pocketpair is 100% independent’ we really do mean there are no other fingers in this pie. So, using my amazing MS Paint skills, hopefully, this clears things up a bit. We like doing things our way. 100% Pocketpair!”

This indicates a strong commitment to fostering creativity within the industry by providing developers the freedom to chase their visions without conflicting influences.
