Saquon Barkley Unveiled as Cover Star for Madden NFL 26

EA Sports reveals Saquon Barkley as the cover star for Madden NFL 26, highlighting his remarkable performance and two distinct cover designs.

EA Sports has officially named Saquon Barkley as the featured player on two covers for Madden NFL 26, set to launch on August 14. His presence on the cover seems well-deserved, especially considering his stellar performance last season.

Barkley marks the first Philadelphia Eagles player gracing the cover since Donovan McNabb in 2006, making this a significant milestone after a two-decade wait. Fans can expect to see Barkley featured with a stunning reverse huddle depicted on one of the covers available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Notably, Madden NFL 26 will also be available for the Nintendo Switch 2.

This moment was already a highlight before the announcement of Madden NFL 26, along with his entry into the Madden NFL 99 Club and record-setting performance last season.

In addition, EA Sports has announced pre-order options for the Deluxe Edition, which offers benefits like early access, 4600 Madden Points, and various add-ons. Furthermore, the EA Sports MVP Bundle includes both Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26, featuring Alabama WR Ryan Williams and Ohio State WR Jeremiah Smith on the covers.
