NAVI is on a mission to regain their top form from mid-2024, following a period of burnout experienced last year. As expressed by the coach, Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy, the team felt the impact of exhaustion after the Rio event. He shared insights about how the break helped rejuvenate their strategies.
“When we started bootcamping in January, I noticed significantly more innovative ideas from the team compared to December.”
Translation: В январе, когда мы начали буткемп, я заметил значительно больше инновационных идей от команды по сравнению с декабрём.
Despite a challenging late last year, where they exited two consecutive tournaments at the group stage, the team has now progressed into 2025 after what B1ad3 describes as a “huge vacation”. The team aims to secure top placements in the upcoming tournaments, particularly focusing on the important ESL Pro Tour championship events.
Recent Performances
The coach is optimistic about their placement following the BLAST Bounty event, stating that achieving a top four position is a solid starting point.
Upcoming Challenges
As they prepare for Katowice, B1ad3 is confident that the lessons learned during their break will provide crucial momentum for future competitions.
