The Game Informer archive has undergone a significant upgrade, making its entire backlog of physical issues available to the public. This extensive archive allows you to explore the rich history of gaming as it dates back to 1991.
“We plan to surface specific legacy articles worth exploring, with the aim of providing free access to this invaluable history,” stated Matt Miller, the Editor-in-Chief.
This initiative has been made possible in part due to collaboration with the Video Game History Foundation and dedicated fans who have worked to preserve gaming magazine history. The new archive format represents a tremendous effort to keep the legacy of these classic gaming experiences alive.
