BLUEJAYS Release Most of Their Roster, Retaining Freshie

BLUEJAYS are undergoing a major roster overhaul by releasing all but one player.

BLUEJAYS are set for a substantial shake-up following their decision to release their entire roster except for Adam “freshie” Paterson. They are parting ways with notable players such as Gavin “Fruitcupx” Norman, Keller “SLIGHT” Nilan, and Wyatt “snav” Phillippi, as the organization looks to build a new team around freshie.

This major decision comes on the heels of a disappointing season where the team failed to secure a spot in the BLAST.tv Austin Major and dropped significantly in both the VRS and HLTV rankings, falling out of the top 50.

The German organization had earlier made headlines when they signed a North American team, BOSS, while previously only fielding European squads. This evolution follows their hiatus from the competitive scene after releasing a North Macedonian roster that included players like Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski.

The new roster configuration for BLUEJAYS is currently as follows:

  • freshie Adam “freshie” Paterson
    Age: 23
    Rating 1.0: 0.99
    Maps played: 715

The roster glance follows their announcement regarding further changes, sparking discussions about potential future competitions.
