'That magic is back': Peter Molyneux insists he's not selling hype for Masters of Albion while referencing Dungeon Keeper, Black and White, and Fable

Peter Molyneux expresses his confidence in creating a promising game while mentioning his past successes.

Peter Molyneux, known for his ambitious projects, is adamant that the magic he used to produce in titles like Dungeon Keeper and Fable is returning with his new game, Masters of Albion. Despite his reputation for over-promising, he believes this project will tap into that same creative spirit.

“Every atom of my being believes we’re making a great game.”
“Cada átomo de mi ser cree que estamos creando un gran juego.

Molyneux recalls the sheer excitement that drives him, saying:

“There is a magic that we used to have… and it feels [like] that magic is back.”
*“Hay una magia que solíamos tener… y se siente [como] que esa magia ha vuelto.”

Working closely with familiar collaborators from his previous successful projects, he’s creating a blend of gameplay mechanics that he believes will be fresh and compelling.

“I think I’ve realized that the consistency is the experience that the player has. […] It’s like making soup.”
*“Creo que he dado cuenta de que la consistencia es la experiencia que tiene el jugador. […] Es como hacer sopa.”

The game is set to launch early in access soon, and Molyneux hints at a clearer roadmap of development in the near future.
