Asus Collaborates with Noctua to Unveil a Massive RTX 5080 Graphics Card

Asus teams up with Noctua again to release an impressive and oversized RTX 5080 graphics card featuring an innovative three-fan design.

At this year’s Computex, Asus exhibited its latest collaboration with Noctua, presenting a GeForce RTX 5080 that features an impressively bulky cooler outfitted with three of Noctua’s renowned fans. This new graphics card is not only designed with enhanced cooling capabilities but also showcases a thicker profile, requiring four slots in your computer chassis.

Asus and Noctua previously partnered to produce the GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua OC Edition, known for its remarkable temperature regulation and quiet operation. The new RTX 5080 continues this tradition by offering superior cooling performance, desirable for gamers and enthusiasts alike.

Despite its impressive specs, some critics have expressed disappointment with the aesthetic choices, feeling the color scheme obscures the beauty of Noctua’s fans hidden beneath the shroud.

The RTX 5080 boasts a total graphics power of 360 W and a higher boost clock speed of up to 2,730 MHz compared to the Founders Edition’s 2,617 MHz. This suggests that the card may allow for even greater overclocking potential, similar to past benchmarks set by the hardware review team.
