Noctua Plans to Release First Liquid CPU Cooler in 2026

Noctua is set to launch a new liquid CPU cooler in collaboration with Asetek, featuring innovative noise-reduction technology.

Noctua, known for its exceptionally quiet cooling solutions, has decided to foray into liquid cooling technology. At Computex 2025, the company unveiled its partnership with Asetek for a product aimed at achieving minimal noise levels in AIO coolers. This upcoming liquid cooler, which is still unnamed, will be based on Asetek’s latest liquid cooler platform known as G8 V2. It will be available in various radiator sizes including 420, 360, and 240 mm.

The cooling dynamics will be managed by Noctua’s renowned fans, either the NF-A14x25 G2 or NF-A12x25 G2, touted as premium options but not without a price. These fans are known for their excellent performance and quiet operation, costing approximately $45 each.

Furthermore, Noctua is also working on a pumpless thermosiphon system; however, this will not be the flagship product. Challenges close the gap on this innovative approach, which relies on a phase change of liquid rather than conventional pump systems.

Stay tuned as more details emerge closer to the 2026 launch date.
