Cherry Unveils Innovative Switch Models and New Naming Convention

Cherry introduces its latest mechanical, magnetic, and inductive switches at Computex, rebranding its offerings alongside new naming conventions.

Cherry, a leading name in mechanical keyboard switches, has announced its latest products at Computex, unveiling three new switch models: Honey, Blossom, and Falcon, all coming under a new naming scheme.

Key Highlights:

  • MK Series: Featuring magnetic switches, promoting precision for gamers.
  • IK Series: Inductive switches that operate contactlessly, designed for efficiency, consuming 50% less power than traditional magnetic switches.
  • MX Series: Includes updated versions of their well-known mechanical switches, showcasing Honey, Blossom, and Falcon.

The Honey switch is Cherry’s first tactile MX switch designed to be silent while still providing a satisfying feedback. The Blossom switch offers an ultra-light touch for fast response, ideal for typists and gamers. Lastly, the Falcon is aimed at users seeking audibly responsive keys, perfect for an engaging typing experience.
