ASRock Unveils 400 Hz 1440p Gaming Monitor at Computex 2025
ASRock has introduced a gaming monitor capable of 400 Hz refresh rates, enhancing the gaming experience with its advanced IPS panel.
ASRock has made headlines with its latest PG27QFW2A gaming monitor presented at Computex 2025. This monitor boasts an impressive refresh rate of 400 Hz, a specification that is particularly notable as it is derived from an IPS panel. While higher refresh rates have been previously showcased (like 480 Hz and above), the novelty lies in the 400 Hz standard from this technology.
This 27-inch monitor features a 1440p resolution and is designed to cater to a diverse range of gaming experiences, functioning well for both high-paced esports titles and typical computing tasks. It also delivers 400 nits of brightness with DisplayHDR 400 certification, covering 93% of the DCI-P3 gamut.
The connectivity options include dual HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-A hub, although it does not support USB-C for single-cable connectivity with laptops. Additionally, it is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack and a Wi-Fi antenna—features that exhibit ASRock’s commitment to gamer-friendly designs.
