Corsair's Transparent PSU Concept Takes Center Stage at Computex 2025

Corsair unveils a unique prototype of a see-through power supply unit at Computex 2025, attracting attention with its innovative design.

Corsair has introduced a remarkable prototype of a transparent power supply unit, named the HX1000i Shift, at Computex 2025 in Taiwan. While the allure of a power supply might not be common, this transparent design piqued the interest of attendees. It’s worth noting that this is still a concept model and not yet available for purchase.

Although exploring the internal components of a PSU isn’t advisable due to safety concerns, the idea of a see-through unit is fascinating. Corsair is likely observing the reactions to this prototype as it considers its future product lineup.

The new Shift HXi models being released are noted for their innovative connectors situated on the side for easier access and include capacities of 1000 W, 1200 W, and 1500 W. Furthermore, each of these models features a built-in iCUE Link System Hub, enabling easy connection of peripherals and RGB lighting without consuming valuable power connectors.

Such advancements in power supply technology underscore Corsair’s commitment to efficiency and aesthetic appeal in the PC hardware industry.
